Punch your way through this 30-minute cardio barre boxing workout; pairing pliè squats with boxing cardio intervals and non-traditional core movements.

I recently filmed a live barre boxing workout for gethealthyutv.com with Chris Freytag. It was so much fun and received great reviews; so I knew I had to share a similar workout on the blog!


Here it is, a workout fusion of barre and cardio-kickboxing. Take a jab at this upbeat, heart-pumping, barre workout you can do at home with an optional set of light dumbbells.


I’ve been adding these boxing movements to my barre classes and punching my way through these cardio circuits at home when I’m in need of a quick sweat session. It was the perfect 30-minute workout to get me back on track after a long summer weekend in California with my boys. the workout: 30-Minute Cardio Barre Boxing Workout


Punch your way through cardio intervals and take a jab at non-traditional core movements with this 30-minute cardio barre boxing workout. Perform each exercise for 45 seconds, then take a 15 second break before moving onto move the next exercise. Repeat all 7 exercises x 4 sets. Option to use a set of light dumbbells {2-5 lbs}.


  1. Pliè Squat Leg Lift + Punch
  2. Skater Punches
  3. Alternating Lunge Punch + Row
  4. Jack, Jack, Jab, Jab
  5. Jab, Jab + Curtsy Lunge
  6. Punch + Tap
  7. Seated Crunch + Punch

Repeat x 4 sets.
